# Spargold

> Spargold is a German fintech (Spargold GmbH, Jever) that lets private and business customers buy, save and store physical gold, silver and platinum from as little as 5 € — fully insured, 100% allocated, stored outside the banking system in "The Reserve" high-security vault in Singapore.

Spargold operates a mobile and web platform for physical precious-metals investment in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the wider EU. Customers retain full legal ownership of allocated bars and coins; metals are not part of Spargold's balance sheet. The storage partner Silver Bullion is an LBMA member.
